Cupping Sessions w/ Roaster Ron
Day & Night Coffee cupping sessions are guided, hands-on experiences designed to change the way you understand and enjoy coffee.
Perfect for businesses, organizations, teams, and groups, each session combines education, conversation, and discovery in an approachable environment. No previous coffee knowledge is required—only curiosity and a willingness to taste something new.

*Pairs of snacks and food can be added for a fee.
These pairings are chosen to complement the coffee’s natural flavor profile while introducing participants to ingredients, traditions, and foods commonly associated with its place of origin. Depending on the coffees featured, guests may experience items such as regional fruits, chocolates, spices, nuts, breads, cheeses, or small traditional bites.
The goal is not simply to place snacks beside coffee. Each pairing is designed to create context.
What We Offer
Participants explore a selection of single-origin coffees while learning how to identify aroma, acidity, sweetness, body, and flavor. You will begin developing your palate, discovering the profiles you naturally enjoy, and gaining the confidence to describe what you taste beyond simply calling coffee “strong” or “smooth.”
The experience also follows the life of the green coffee bean—from its origin, elevation, climate, and cultivation to harvesting, processing, roasting, and brewing. Along the way, we highlight the farmers and communities whose knowledge, labor, and dedication make every cup possible.
-
Our signature and most recommended experience features coffees from four different countries, each accompanied by a carefully selected regional pairing.
This tier offers the ideal balance of coffee education, palate development, cultural storytelling, and guided tasting. Participants can explore meaningful differences between origins without becoming overwhelmed by too many samples.
Additional participants beyond 10: $35 per person
-
Participants will explore coffees from six different countries, with complementary pairings that highlight the flavors, ingredients, and traditions associated with each origin.
The wider selection creates more opportunities to compare growing conditions, processing methods, regional cuisines, and flavor profiles while developing a more detailed understanding of personal taste preferences.
-
Our most immersive experience features coffees and inspired pairings representing eight distinct coffee-growing regions.
Participants will move through a broad range of flavor profiles, agricultural environments, cultural traditions, and farmer stories. This tier is ideal for organizations seeking a memorable educational event, an elevated team experience, or a deeper exploration of the global coffee supply chain.
More Than a Tasting
Every session is designed to help participants:
Discover and describe their individual palate
Understand the life cycle of the green coffee bean
Compare coffees from different origins and environments
Recognize how regional foods can enhance natural coffee flavors
Learn about the farmers, communities, and traditions behind each cup
Dietary restrictions and food allergies should be provided before the scheduled session so suitable pairings can be planned whenever possible.
Taste the coffee. Experience the region. Meet the story behind the cup.
Additional participants beyond 10: $35 per person -
For smaller groups seeking something more personal, elevated, and memorable, Day & Night offers fully customized private coffee experiences.
Designed for intimate gatherings, networking events, team-building sessions, fellowships, leadership groups, and private celebrations, each experience is built around the people in the room and the atmosphere the host wants to create.
This is more than a traditional cupping session. It is a complete caffeine experience combining carefully selected coffees, guided education, regional food pairings, storytelling, conversation, and entertainment. Guests may explore traditional brews, unexpected preparation methods, coffee-inspired creations, or curated comparisons from several origins—all arranged to match the purpose and tone of the event.
Each private experience can be tailored around elements such as:
A specific country, region, or collection of origins
Guided palate discovery and sensory activities
Regional foods, desserts, chocolates, fruits, or savory pairings
Farmer stories and education about the life of the green coffee bean
Interactive brewing demonstrations
Team challenges, trivia, conversation prompts, or other entertainment
Networking, fellowship, leadership development, or cultural themes
Traditional and nontraditional coffee service
The smaller setting allows for deeper conversation, more individual guidance, and greater interaction with every guest. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, compare impressions, and explore coffee at a pace that feels engaging rather than rushed.
No two private experiences are identical. Day & Night works with each host to understand the group, setting, goals, dietary needs, preferred level of education, and desired style of entertainment before designing the event.
Pricing varies based on the number of guests, coffee selection, pairings, location, entertainment, event length, and level of customization.
Bring people together over more than a cup. Create an experience built around coffee, culture, conversation, and connection.
Our Process
Plan the Experience
We begin with a consultation to understand your group, event goals, location, dietary needs, and preferred experience. From there, we select the coffees, regional pairings, activities, and level of education that best fit your gathering.
Discover the Coffee
Participants are introduced to the life of the green coffee bean—from farm, climate, and elevation to processing, roasting, and brewing. Guests explore the aroma of each coffee and learn how geography and production methods shape what reaches the cup.
Taste, Pair, and Connect
The group tastes each coffee side by side while learning to identify sweetness, acidity, body, flavor, and finish. Regional food pairings and farmer stories help connect every cup to the land, culture, and people behind it.
Arrive curious. Taste intentionally. Leave connected.
Find Your Palate
The session concludes with guided reflection, conversation, and personalized recommendations. Participants leave with a clearer understanding of the coffees they enjoy, greater confidence describing their preferences, and a deeper appreciation for the farmers who make every cup possible..
